Connect WhatsApp conversations to your Shopify catalogue

Stop making customers search your website after they already messaged you. From product question to captured order, without leaving the chat.

WhatsApp Instagram Shopify

How it works for shopify ecommerce stores

The conversation flow a customer actually experiences, end to end.

  1. 1

Customer asks about a product through WhatsApp or Instagram

A shopper who clicked a Meta ad, scanned a QR code, or found your store organically asks about a specific product instead of browsing your site further.

  2. 2

AI reads connected Shopify product information

The AI answers from your live Shopify catalogue, product titles, variants, prices, and descriptions, so it never quotes something that does not match what is actually for sale.

  3. 3

It answers availability, variation, and policy questions

Stock status, size and colour variants, shipping estimates, and return policy are answered directly in the chat, the same questions your support inbox and FAQ page get every day.

  4. 4

    It recommends suitable products

If a product is out of stock or the customer describes what they want in general terms, the AI can surface close matches from your live catalogue instead of a dead-end reply.

  5. 5

It captures an order or moves the customer toward checkout

For direct sales, the AI records the order details in a structured summary. For stores that prefer web checkout, it can guide the customer to the right product page instead.

  6. 6

A human handles exceptions or high-value orders

Bulk orders, custom requests, or anything above a value threshold you set is escalated to a team member with the full conversation and cart context attached.

Setup guide

Everything you need to configure LeadCeleris for shopify ecommerce stores, in order.

01

Connect your Shopify store

Under Integrations, connect Shopify. LeadCeleris syncs your product catalogue, prices, variants, and stock status automatically, so you are not maintaining product data in two places.

Re-sync happens on a schedule, but if you push a large catalogue update, a manual sync keeps AI answers matching your storefront the same day.

02

Connect WhatsApp and Instagram

Link your WhatsApp Business number and Instagram professional account under Channels. Traffic from Click-to-WhatsApp ads, story links, and organic DMs all land in the same inbox, answered against the same live catalogue.

03

Add shipping, returns, and policy details

Shopify sync covers products, but it does not know your shipping zones, delivery timelines, or return window unless you add them to the Knowledge Base. This is where most "the bot gave a wrong answer" complaints actually come from, missing policy data, not a broken product sync.

  • Shipping zones, fees, and delivery estimates
  • Return and exchange window and conditions
  • Payment methods accepted (cards, COD, buy-now-pay-later, etc.)
04

Decide how orders get completed

Choose whether the AI should capture full order details directly in chat, or guide customers to your Shopify checkout page for payment. Many stores use chat capture for COD-heavy markets and checkout handoff for prepaid, card-first stores.

05

Set escalation rules, then test end to end

Escalate bulk orders, wholesale enquiries, and anything above an order value you define. Before going live, run a real test: ask about an in-stock item, an out-of-stock item, and a shipping question, and confirm every answer matches your actual store.

Frequently asked questions

Does the AI always match my live Shopify stock?+

Yes, product and stock data comes from your connected Shopify catalogue on a regular sync, not from manually typed answers, so it reflects real availability rather than a stale price list.

Can it recover abandoned checkouts automatically?+

Not yet as an automated workflow. We are being deliberate about only presenting fully live, verified capabilities here; abandoned cart recovery will be documented in this guide once it ships in the product.

Can I still send customers to my website checkout?+

Yes. You can configure the AI to guide customers to the right Shopify product page for payment instead of capturing the order directly in chat, whichever fits your store's checkout flow better.
